Compartmentalized Systems manage the computational and functional elements of modern habitats, stations and ships.
Types[]
Systems can generally be grouped by their names, which describe their function.
- HubSystem: Serving as the central 'hub' of multiple subordinate systems, HubSystems are built into habitats, stations, and other places. It manages other systems and holds libraries where information can be searched.
- MedSystems: These systems are able to repair nearly any physical damage to organic tissue short of death or destruction of the patient's brain.
- MobSys
- FacilitySystem
- PortAuthSystem: Systems used by Port Authorities on stations.
- SecSystem: Systems that manage security. SecUnits are designed to work with them in tandem.
Unusual Cases[]
- Central System: An older version of HubSystem that had broader scopes and no subordinate systems.[1]
- TargetControlSystem: A system evolved on the Lost Colony
