Murderbot Wiki

Rogue War Tracker Infinite is the fifth episode in the first season of the Apple TV+ series, Murderbot. The episode premiered on June 6, 2025.

Synopsis[]

PresAux pulls out all the stops to forge a path forward. Tensions mount when trust is tested — and a DeltFall survivor joins the fold.

Plot Summary[]

Murderbot is still alive but severely damaged after shooting itself to prevent the Combat Override Module from activating. The Preservation Alliance team retrieves Murderbot and brings it back to base.

During this time, Arada, in a state of panic, fires at a figure in the distance who turns out to be a survivor from the DeltFall team. The woman, named Leebeebee and originating from one of the Industrial Junctions, explains that the DeltFall SecUnit also went rogue. She is surprised to learn that Murderbot shot itself to protect the team.

Professor Bharadwaj attempts to save Murderbot by removing the Combat Override Module and rebooting its system. Gurathin begins examining Murderbot’s code and discovers that it has already hacked its own Governor Module. This causes division among the group: some, including LeeBeeBee, suspect Murderbot of having ulterior motives, while others, such as Bharadwaj and Ratthi, believe it is trustworthy.

Gurathin argues that Murderbot should be kept immobilized, but this is ultimately rejected. Mensah decides that Murderbot should remain with the team for now. Murderbot reveals that the HubSystem may have been compromised by an external force and admits to feeding the Company false data streams to conceal this breach.

Due to access restrictions, the team cannot use the automated beacon system, so Mensah and Murderbot travel to access it manually. During the journey, Mensah engages Murderbot in casual conversation, which the SecUnit finds unexpected. As they approach the beacon, it explodes, forcing them to quickly move their ship to safety.
