The Murderbot Series is written by Martha Wells. Originally titled 'The Murderbot Diaries', this name seems to now refer specifically to the first four as of Fugitive Telemetry's back-of-the-book index, and Network Effect is now a 'Standalone Murderbot Novel'.
There are three short stories that supplement the novellas and novels. Murderbot remains the main point-of-view character for Compulsory, while Home: Habitat, Range, Niche, Territory and Rapport: Friendship, Solidarity, Communion, Empathy feature Mensah and Perihelion and its crew respectively.
